Shell Liners
Description
Ball mill shell liners are used to protect the inner shell of cylinder from being impacted and worn directly by material and grind-ball. At the same time we can use different forms of shell liners to adjust the direction of ball mill motion to improve the grinding effect of the grinding media to material, and to help the ball mill to improve the grinding efficiency, increase production and reduce consumption. The product provide by TallKee Rubber Products in China ensure the greatest wear resistance and tenacity to protect the inner shell of cylinder, reduce the maintenance times and prolong the service intervals of ball mill. We can provide customized products according to client requirement.
The Function of Shell Liners
1. It is mainly to protect the inner shell of cylinder from being impacted and worn directly by material and grind-ball, and also avoid the pulp’s corrosive wear for ball mill.
2. Lifting the grind-ball to produce the movement of ore grinding.
Types
Advantages
1.Strong corrosion resistance. The steel mill shell liners are more easily being corroded by pulp in wet grinding process. While this kind of rubber liners can well resistant the corrosion of acid and alkalis material, water or other solutions under a certain temperature.
2. High wear resistance. The rubber itself can deform when meeting the shock of grind-ball, and bear lesser impact force to reduce wear.
3. Obviously energy saving. The rubber shell liners are usually save electric power and reduce the noise of ball mill in working.
4. Light weight. When it is used in the fine grinding process, it can prolong the service life of ball mill.
5. The grinding efficiency of second chamber maintained at optimum level.
6. A steady flow of material is ensured and a very fine ball charge can also be used.
7. This kind of rubber liners can significantly reduce the wear rates of ball mill and the shell liners itself.
8. Lower operating costs due to increased working life.
9. Reduced downtime required for replacement of liners.

Remarks:
All physical property values developed and measured using a press-cured sample sheet prepared in accordance with GB/T18241.2-2000.
Note
The installation arrangement of the mill shell liners is to avoid the scour of pulp, so there should not have the cut-through circular seam when the liners are arranged along the direction of the cylinder motion.
